About Sunnyside
Bounded by I-70 to the North, Federal Boulevard to the West, 38th Ave. to the South, and Inca St. to the East, Sunnyside is home to a great diversity of residents, old and new. There's just something about the historic charm and urban convenience that Sunnyside offers that can be hard to resist. By the end of 2016, Sunnyside and Highlands will also be served by RTD rail transit connecting these urban neighborhoods to both Wheat Ridge/Arvada and Longmont/Boulder, with a new rail station at 39th Avenue and Inca Street.
Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood has enjoyed a recent revival, thanks to an influx of development, restaurants, breweries, and new residents who are migrating north from the Highland neighborhoods. Sunnyside is primarily residential, with a mix of historic bungalows and modern homes that locals have grown accustomed to seeing pop up throughout North Denver. But Sunnyside offers more! Its unique mix of amenities provides a clue that the neighborhood is on the verge. It boasts quiet tree-lined streets, welcoming front porches, proximity to highways, downtown, and other popular areas, as well as a light rail station coming in 2016. It's safe to say that Sunnyside is poised to be Denver's next hot neighborhood.
